Two Cars Missing in Northland
Two motor cars have been reported missing to the Whangarei Police in the last day or two. Between 9.15 and 10.15 yesterday a 1937 Hillman Minx 10 horse-power sedan disappeared from Commerce Street, Kaitaia.
Sandy gray in colour with red upholstery, this car is the property of Mr Percy Yendell, Kaitaia, Its registered number is 5.143. Endeavours are being made to trace the car which was reported missing pn Saturday from Walton Street, Whangarei.
This vehicle, the property of Mr A. E. Austin, Deveron Street, is a 10 horse power 1938 four-seater Austin sedan, painted dark blue with black mudguards. Its registered number is 13-586.
The police would appreciate any information which might lead to the recovery of either car.
