Stowaways Dealt With
[Per Press Association. Copyright! 1 INVERCARGILL, This Day. Two men concealed themselves on the Maunganui before the vessel left
Melbourne, and were forced from hiding by hunger and thirst. They ap-
peared in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday, charged with stowing away. Each was fined £2 and ordered to pay for the passage, in default 21 days’ imprisonment.
