On the Ist February, an instalment of the Registration Levy will become payable by all male persons twenty years of age and over, other than those entitled to exemption. The fourth instalment of the Employment Charge of 8d in the £ on income other than salary or wages derived during the year ended 31st March, 1938, also falls due on the same date. A penalty of 10 per cent, will be incurred on any instalment not paid within one month of the due date. An employer who employs for more than seven days a person who is in arrears with the Registration Levy 3 is liable, on summary conviction, to a fine of £2o.'
