Devon, j easily won the Adrian Knox Stakes at the Australian Jockey Club’s anniversary meeting at Randwick today. Details:— Adrian Knox Stakes, of 1000 sovs; three-year-old fillies; one mile.—Early Bird, 8.5, 1; Diamond Wedding, 8.5, 2; Talkalot, 8.5, 3. Six other starters. Two and a half lengths; half a length; Time—l.36i, Anniversary Handicap, of 1500 sovs; one and a half miles. —Edible. (N.Z.bred), 6.9, and Allunga, 9.5, dead heat, 1; Red Sails, 7.9, 3. Nine other starters. Third horse a length and a half away. Time—2.3o.?. Demaster Wins Australia Day Cup. At the Wi'lliamstown Racing Club’s meeting the Australia Day Cup was won by the top weight, Donaster, from Buzzalong and Prince Sion. Details: — Australia Day Cup, of 750 sovs and 'trophy valued at £25; one mile and three furlongs.—Donaster, 9.7, 1; Buzzalong, 9.2, 2; Prince Sion, 7.5, 3. Nine other starters.
