There was an attendance of only 6000 at the Auckland Racing Club’s meeting yesterday; The totalisator handled £23,056, compared with £33,809/10/on the second day last year, , a decrease of £10,753710/-. The investments for the meeting were £63,735, against £82,334 last year, a decrease of £18,599. As a result of, the unfavourable conditions, times were slow, and Cheval do Volee took 2.12 2-5 to run the 1:1 miles in the Ralph Handicap. DEBUT AT RICCARTON. Rebel Lass, an unraced full-sister to the good, but unsound, 'Rebel Song, has made great improvement in the past few weeks, and has being doing excellent track gallops. She is to race at . the approaching mid-summer meting of the Canterbury Jockey Club, whgn the Lyttelton Plate will be her mission.
