Illuminated Address For Tangowahine Resident
Residents of Tangowahine gathered in force on Thursday to honour Mr T. C. Hawkins, a well-known bush contractor, and one of the 'largest employers of labour in the Northern Wairoa district. Mr Hawkins was presented with tan illuminated address and a wallet. The speakers included Messrs F. E. Crawford (Tangowahine), R. P. Langton (Onetea), C. Cook (Darg*aville), G. Dysart (Mangakahia), J. G. Coates, M.P., and the Mayor of Dargaville, Mr Raymond Gibson.
