Embargo On Arms For Spain
LONDON, January 2h. ‘The Prime Minister and the Foreign Secretary, Viscount Halifax, received a deputation from the National Council of the Labour Party, consisting of Mr C. R. Attlee, Dr Hugh Dalton, and Mr J. Hallsworth, chairman of the Trade Union Congress. The deputation asked that action should be. taken by the Government
to remove the embargo on arms to the Spanish Republican Government.
