An extensive and deep storm system is approaching, and, as the centre iS' expected to move further to the north, the prospects for a fairly substantial rainfall throughout Northland are enhanced.
The following special wind forecast for Whangarei yachtsmen is as follows.—Strong westerly winds, veering to north and increasing to gale.
