A Special Northland Competition “Have you posted that letter. Kupe?” asked the Princess. “There’s been no reply and 1. wrote in nearly a fortnight ago.” And then I had a twinge of conscience. The letter was Gill in my coat pocket! Happily Kim, the dog-, brought a large bone in just then, and the Princess forgot her letter in preventing him from making a dining table of the sitting-room carpet. “Better late than, never,” I thought, as I took the letter to She post office soon after. Of course the dots indicate Where letters had rubbed out. Hawera I puzzled and puzzled, and then I got it out. The letter was for Mrs P. Petersen com - eti ’ tion The envelope was duly re-addressed and posted.
