Dear Kupe. I am a new member of the Kupe Club and I hope that very soon 1 will be quite a successful member. First of all I am a pupil of the Punarnlai School and 1 am ten years of age. I have seen you and the Prim cess, and almost knew you quite well when you were camping down here, but perhaps you have forgotten me. I thought I might as well join the Kupe Club as we always get the “Advocate.” Enclosed is a poem you might like. We’re having horrible weather out here and I suppose it’s the same in town.
