Road-Sealing In Mangonui County
The Mangonui County Council has been advised that the sealing of the main highway between Mr Clem Matthews’ and the Awanui Bridge will probably commence on January 3, if tenders are satisfactory. It has further been agreed by the Highways Board to continue the sealing from the Awanui Bridge to the dairy factory, and for some chains along the Kaingaroa Road for its junction with, the main highway. I Through Awanui. the sealing will i be right across the street from chan-1 nel to channel, and the remainder will ; be 18 feet wide. In consideration for the additional i work, the County Council has agreed to contribute £573.
