Holiday Riding Engagements
W. J. Broughton’s mounts at the Ellerslie meting will include Arctic King, Smoke Screen, Beau Repaire, and Paddy the Rip. At Awapuni, he will ride Yours Truly, Rustem, Mendelssohn, Black Thread, Serenata and Royal Pageant. G. R. Tattersall's' mounts at the Manawatu meeting will be Tidal Gift, Joe Louis, Big Dook, Silver River and Vascones. L. J. Ellis will ride Beaupartir in the Queen’s Plate and While Gold iri the Robinson Handicap. A. E. Ellis will have the mount on Beaupartir in the Great Northern Derby. L. Dulieu will ride Guiding Light, Te Morehu and Lexden at the New Plymouth meeting, after which he will return to Auckland for the the second day at Ellerslie.
