Anglican Garden Party This Afternoon
A most enjoyable garden party was held at the residence of Mr and Mrs R. S. Finch, Mill Road, this afternoon. The function was organised by the ladies of Christ Church, Whangarei. Although, the weather was threatening this morning, the afternoon turned out brilliantly line. There was an exceptionally large attendance, who found the gardens in perfect order —veritably a picture of spring at her best. Guests were welcomed by the hostess, Mrs Finch. The Rev. H. T. Steele was also in attendance.
