Tanganyika Must Not Be German

(Received 12 noon.) LONDON, October 20. Twenty-five thousand Indians in Tanganyika have cabled the Government of India and the Indian Congress urging representations to Britain regarding their grave position in the event of Tanganyika going to Germany. Moslems at Ismalia sent a message to their leader, the Aga Khan, urging intervention.

Hearty Wrestlers. ‘‘You can’t row on a full stomach,” said Mr. H. C. Collier, at the annual meeting of the New Plymouth Club, recently, when the subject of training after tea was being discussed. “Wrestling seems to be the only sport in which men can succeed after heavy meals.” he added. “A wrestler can eat a meal of 14 eggs before going into the ring for a bout, and still wrestle well.”
