Mr D. Devy spent the week-end with his parents in Auckland. Mr T. Browse arid.Mr T. Cameron, of the Waikato, are the guests of Mr and Mrs C. Cameron.Miss G. Bowmar is visiting her sister, Mrs S. Thomas, at Dargaville, Mrs T. Donaldson with her infant twin sons, had returned home after a holiday in Palmerston North. Miss G. Lambarth who has been spending a fortnight’s holiday with her relatives in Palmerston North, has returned. Plunket Dance. The local branch of the Plunket Society staged a jolly dance in the Kaiwaka Hall on Friday last, when tfie attendance was very good, and the door-takings amounted to over £ll. Snappy dance numbers were played by Mr Mcrv. Meiklejohn and friends. A Monte Carlo waltz was won by Mr Bert Mills and Mrs Barton. A cups and saucers prize was won by Mrs T. Bowmar, and a jar of sweets was won by Mrs A. W. Leslie. The duties of M.C. were in the hands of Mr J. Brewer,
