Kapiti At Whangarei Next Wednesday
i The motor-vessel, Kapiti, recently • purchased by the Northern Shipping Co Ltd for the Northland coastal trade, is expected to make her first visit to Whangarei under her new colours next Wednesday. The vessel, which has been brought up from Wellington, ' was previously engaged on the West Coast. j The Claymore, which normally has charge of the Auckland-Whangarei run is still on the slip at Auckland undergoing her annual overhaul, and her duties for some weeks past have been carried on by the motor-vessel Otimai, which was at the town wharf this morning with a general cargo. The motor-vessel Coronation arrived from the Far North early in the afternoon, and, after taking aboard 700 boxes of butter from the Maungatapere Dairy Co’s factory, was scheduled to leave for Auckland late this ■ afternoon, j The ‘Otimai will return to the city j tonight and there will be no further J shipping at the town wharf until next Wednesday.
