Silverdale, at least five miles will be sealed this summer. The reconstruction of this section of highway involves heavy earthworks north and south of the Dairy Flat bridge, and progress on these is particularly rapid as a result of mechanical aids which can be usecl effectively in the type of country through which the deviations from the old road are being taken.
