Mrs W. Ciow and _ her daughter. Mrs H. Williams, “The Strand." have returned from a visit to Auckland, where they attended the wedding of Mr Ronald Clow, a son of the former.
Mr J. W. Clarke, manager of the Auckland brunch of the Mew Zealand Tourist Bureau, and family, who have been spending a holiday at Olehoi Lodge, Bay of Islands, returned to Auckland on Tuesday.
Mr and Mrs A. Smith, of Te Awamutu, are visiting Mrs Smith's parents, Mr and Mrs A. E. Bisset. "The Strand."
Mr Roy Baker, son of Mr and Mrs W, Baker, has left for Auckland, where he has taken a position with Messrs. Sargood, Son and Ewcn. Ltd.
Miss Macken, of Dinniss Avenue, Whangarei. has returned after a holiday visit to Russell. Miss Macken intends taking up residence in Russell at the end of September.
Mr and Mrs M. Russell, of Auckland, have been spending a few days at Russell. They left by car for Mangonui yesterday.
Mr and Mrs Lloyd, of Mafamata. are spending a holiday at Russell, and have taken a house at Long Beach for a short period.
