A Man Missing

[Special to “northern Advocate.”! GREYMOUTH, This Day. Mr Harry Rawlinson, a Public Works employee, who left the Waitcto River in an open dinghy last Thursday 'afternoon for Jackson’s Bay, is missing. Mr J. C. Mercer, of Air Travel (N.Z.), Ltd., was to have left Hokitika on Monday morning to make an aeri'al search, but heavy rain and a north-west wind made conditions unfavourable, and he is still waiting for the weather to clear. Mr Rawlinson was delivering stores to Jackson's Bay in a dinghy equipped with an outboard motor, and it is thought that the motor may have developed a fault.
