SYDNEY. August 29

At the Central Police Court to-day, Arthur Sticldngs, alias Peter Fisher, aged 31, a seaman, and former taxidriver, was remanded in the custody of Detective H, A. Wilson to appear at Auckland on a warrant charging that, while armed with a shotgun, at Auckland on August 8,. he robbed Frank Pickering of £219/9/-, the property of the Atta Taxi Company. Detective-Sergeant Boswell said he arrested Stickings on August 15 on a provisional warrant. Accused said he was Stickings, alias Fisher, and was the person named in the provisional warrant, adding: “I am the man. but you are a day late."
