Palmer, ad- j dressing a public meeting sponsored j by the Hastings Rotary Club on bo- j half cf the Dominion Settlement As- j soefation, stressed the seriousness of i the fall in the birthrate. and advocated j the immediate inauguration of a ; system of planned and adequately I financed migration. j
Following the address, a Hastings branch of the Dominion Settlement Association was fox’med. Mr. Palmer also addressed Napier Rotan’ans yesterday. and. as a result, steps are being taken to form a Napier branch of the association.
