Kamo Beats Hikurangi
Hikurangi had difficulty in fielding a fifteen against Kamo, at Kamo. A number of players were held up by the floods, and others were under the impression that all games would be cancelled. However, a team comprising Hikurangi' and Piplwai players was soon accumulated, only to meet defeat by 11 points to nil. The game was played under most unfavourable
circumstances. Scorers for Kamo were Ruddell, Skelton and Henry, a conversion also being registered by Skelton.
