Little Girl Dies in Hospital

Another death following measles took place at the Whangarei District Hospital at an early hour this morning, the victim being Edna Marjorie, the six-year-old daughter of Mr and Mrs G. Pyle, formerly of Whangaruru, and now of North Street, Whangarei. Three weeks ago the little girl was admitted to hospital suffering from complicated pneumonia after an attack of measles. She was the eldest daughter of a little family of three, and a distressing feature of her tragic passing ,is that even now her youngest sister, aged two years, lies in hospital, also suffering from measles. The funeral will leave the residence, i 7 North Street, at 1 p.m. to-morrow.
