The story deals with j a beautiful Chinese girl who knew j 100 much to be permitted to live, j Quan Lin. wealthy merchant, is killed j by .alien smugglers when he refuses | to take some aliens off their hands. - His daughter. Lan Ying Lin. goes to < Mrs Hunt, wealthy society matron, for help. She introduces the girl to an : inspector and Kim Lee, a Government j agent. When they leave, it is re- : vealed that Mrs Hunt is the power; behind the smuggling ring. Deter- j mined to bring her father’s murderers | to justice. Lan Ying Sin turns detec- j live, and soon finds herself on a re- ( mote island, where she dances for a j living. While here, she discovers a ■•blind" for an alien receiving sta- ; lion, and disguises herself as a man, i after obtaining evidence against the smugglers. There is a thrilling inei- j dent when she escapes in a vessel and j is discovered. She then sets out t*> I bring her father's murders to book, j and succeeds in exposing the opera- j lions of the ring and ultimately of j smashing it. Anna May Wong acts i one of her best parts in this thrilling ' story. There is a strong supporting | programme. j
