“Angels” Inspect New “Heaven”
(Received 2 p.m.) NEW YORK. August 8. Two boatloads of Father Divine's “angels." hilariously singing and provisioned with ice cream, soda-water and water-melons, sailed up the Hudson River to inspect their newest "Heaven." facing President Roosevelt's estate. Father Divine, dressed in a grey suit, boarded the flagship from a luxurious limousine, his followers yelling, “Peace. Father.”
