All Blacks’ Match To-day

(Received 10 a.m.) BRISBANE, July 29 The Queensland Rugby Union players feel flattered because the All Blacks’ selection is a virtual test team for the State match on Saturday. One of the managers, Dr. Adams, speaking at the official reception, said all the teams would be good. “Before we go home,” he added, “our team will be the best to have represented our country.” A factor which has pleased the tourists is that practically the whole side is fit, in spite of four matches having been played. J. Dick, the Auckland wing three-quarter, delayed by ths, measles, is now with his colleagues. He had a training run this morning. Carson, and Wesney are both making good progress, and wfll be available to play on Wednesday at Toowoomba. The New Zealand managers and players are delighted with their reception so far, particularly with the large number of former New Zealanders who have sought them out. The managers have selected the Queenslander, Mr P. Barnes, to referee the match. Mr T. Moore will be referee tomorrow. The Australian selectors will see this game.
