R. Johnson, was fined .1125 in the Magistrate's Court at. Maung'aturolo yesterday. Defendant did not appear. Mr A. E. Foster, district employment officer for ‘the Labour Department, Whangarei. staled in evidence that during the period covered 'by the charge, defendant had been on relief, working his allocation for the Otamatea County Council.
