McKenzie’s Bush In the report of the recent Farmers’ Union meeting at Whangarei, Mr. H. E. Hewlett, speaking on hill country deterioration, was reported to have said that there was on his property an area of 250 acres of bush which he had wished to he reserved, but the Government would’ not do this. Mr. Hewlett’s statement was to the cli’ect that there was in his district an area of 230 acres of McKenzie’s bush, which had been offered to the Government as a reserve.
