Among those imported through the Whangarei Harbour Board during June were barley, beans and peas, chaff, hay and straw, cheese, coal, coke, flour, fruit, honey, milk products, oat products, pollard and bran, potatoes, seeds, sugar and wheat. In addition, stocks of farmers’ requirements, including lime, livestock, manures and motor spirit were handled through the board.
