Loyalists’ Advance Continues
(Received 2.30 p.m.) LONDON, July 27. The Loyalist advance in the Ebro sector has continued into the third day. Nine towns and villages have been captured. The Government forces are fighting almost entirely with their infantry, and the insurgents are replying almost solely with German aeroplanes. At least five squadrons of German Junkers are co-operating. Government troops have recovered over 250 square miles in the present offensive. A rebel statement says that 200 were killed, 100 drowned, and 350 captured when the Loyalists crossed the Ebro.
