A very deep depression is now passing away •to the east of Northland, and some ! improvement is indicated.

An anticyclone of slight in- | tensity is approaching across the Tasfman Sea. , Forecast. —Strong south-west to j southerly winds, reaching gale force jin exposed positions, but decreasing I tomorrow. Weather cloudy to overcast, with intermitten rain, but gradually improving. Temperatures cold. Seas rather rough to rough. SUNRISE AND SUNSET. (Standard Time), JULY.
