Farmers’ Union Popular
Since commencing his canvass of the Northland areas in March, Mr. N. F. Taylor, Dominion Organiser of the Farmers’ Union, has had unique success. At the Whangarei sub-provincial meeting yesterday, he reported having increased the membership in this area from 187 to 447, an increase of 262. The area covered had been between Whangarei and Waipu, and between Maunu and Maungtapei'e. He fully expected to have 1000 members when he had completed tire canvass of the sub-province. Everywhere he had gone, said Mr. Taylor, he had mot with whole-hearted support.
