Prisoner Asks For Leave To Marry

[Per Press Association Copyright .] AUCKLAND. Tuesday.

After having sentenced the prisoner to a long period of imprisonment, Mr Justice Fair referred to the request for the opportunity to marry. “That matter,” he said, “can be considered by the authority. I don’t feel disposed to say anything in favour of the application.”
