N.Z. Potatoes For Overseas
I Special to "Northern Advocate.'! WELLINGTON. This Day. The announcement that the Government has made arrangements to buy and ship overseas some of the surplus of the New Zealand potato crop was made yesterday by the Hon. W. Nash, Minister of Marketing. The Minister said he did not want to announce either the price or the countries to which the potatoes would be shipped. The arrangement was not in the nature of a guaranteed price for potatoes, but. with the Governments making purchases, the grower need not sell at too low a figure
