JJ'HE medical officer of health for the Wellington district. Dr. F. S. Mac Lean, reports an easing off in the number of measles cases in the district. Maly was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence if called upon, in twelve months, a condition being that he refunded the sum of 10/6, A PLEA of guilty to a charge of being intoxicated in charge of a car was made in the Christchurch police court on Saturday by George William Gambles, a company secretary, who was described by tire police as a prominent city business man. Ho was fined £3O and had his license cancelled for a year.
