The North Auckland Farmers’ Coop.. Limited, reports a fair yarding of dairy cattle at its Kaikohe sale last week. Few store cattle were yarded, mainly on account of the rough weather. Good dairy cows, £6 to £6 15/-; medium, £5/15/- to £6; backward and inferior, £4/10/- to £5/2/6; medium dairy heifers, £5/5/- to £5 12/6. No extra nice dairy heifers were yarded. Small and backward, £3/17/6 to £C; cows and calves, £2 12/6 to £4 15/-; two-year-old steers, coloured, £4/10/- to £5/2/6; fat cows, £4/10/- to £5/15/-; forward conditioned cows £3/15/- to £4/2/6; boner cows, £2/9/- to £3/2/-; lighter, £2 to £2/7/6; yearling steers, good quality. £4/8/- to £4/13/-; boner bulls, light. £2 to £2/12'-; store wethers, £l/5/-; fat ewes, 15/-; wether hoggets. 16/- to 16/4.
