Map Of Whangarei
An excellent map of the borough of Whangarei, compiled by Mr R. S. Finch, registered surveyor. has recently been issued. For accuracy and detail, it is by far the best map of Whangarei that has ever been published. Drawn to a scale of six chains to the inch, every section is delineated and numbered. The streets arc coloured in lightorange and clearly named, and the outer boundaries of the borough are distinctly shown in pink. The various survey blocks and subdivisions being clearly indicated, and each individual section consecutively numbered, the time occupied in reading the map or locating a locality. is reduced to a minimum. The important public buildings are shown hi their respective positions. The production is a thoroughly worthy one, and reflects great credit on the producer, Mr Finch. It is on sale at Mr A. T. Brainsby’s bookshop.
