Hitler’s Aide de Camp
(Received 3 p.m.) RUGBY July 21. Questioned in the House of Commons regarding the visit of Captain Wiedemann, Herr Hiller s aide de c&mp* Mr. Chamberlain said "In the course of his recent visit to London Captain Wiedemann had an informal conversation with Viscount Halifax. Captain Wiedemann did not come prepared to discuss any particular aspect ol political affairs but the conversations enabled him, owing to his contact with authoritative circles in Germany, to renew assurances already given by Germany of its desire to achieve a peaceful settlement of outsanding questions” A conference at Munich attended by Herr Hitler. Captain Wiedemann and members of Cabinet discussed Captain Wiedemann's report on his London visit says a cable from Berlin.
