j>URGLARS who entered the offices of the Shell Oil Company at Port Ahuriri removed a small safe containing a small amount of money and cheques. A car stolen from Auckland earlier in the week was found outside the premises bogged in the sand. An eight-gallon drum of benzine was also missing. The police report that the safe was found at Poukawa. 32 miles from Napier. The back had been torn out, and the money was missing. Keys, cheques and papers, however, had not been taken.
