Pacific Lines Not To Be Built
(Received 2 p.m.) LONDON, July 20. It is understood that the Australian Ministerial delegation, under Sir Earle Page, met the chairman of the Canadian Pacific Railway, Sir Edward Beatty, in conference. They decided, owing to the enormous increase in costs, not to proceed with the building of two Pacific liners. The whole position will be considered later.
