Walter Wakelin also reports having j held his usual fortnightly sale at Wha--1 kapara on, Tuesday, when a medium entry of cattle was submitted to a good attendance of buyers. Best Jersey heifers realised frm £8 to £9 13/; good quality heifers, more backward, £6 to £7; small dairy heifers, to £4 10/; Jersey cows, close to profit, £4 10/ to £7; yearling Jersey heifers, to £2 15/; forward steers, to £7 2/; fat cows, to £4 12/6; boner cows, £2 to £3; boner bulls, £3 12/6 to £4.
