8.8.C.’s New Director-General
(Received 8.30 a.m.) LONDON, July 19. Mr Frederick Wolfl'e Ogilvie, M.A., President and Vice-Chancellor of Queen’s University, Belfast, has been appointed Director-General of the British Broadcasting Corporation. Mr Ogilvie’s new post is believed to carry a salary of £7OOO a year.
