Successful Mission Ends
Considerable success attended the mission recently conducted in Whangarei by Mr F. A. Youens at the Church cl' Christ, which concluded recently. Despite the measles epidemic and the inclement weather obtaining throughout the period of the mission, six new members have been gained for the church as a direct result, while an adult Bible Class, to meet on Sunday afternoons in addition to the morning Sunday School already no existence, is to be formed. Prior to his departure, Mr Youens spoke with considerable appreciation of the warm reception extended to him and his work in Whangarei. particularly in the Maunu area, where his house visits were mainly carried out in conjunction with the local the Rev. A. W. Bell. In every home visited, their message had been sympathetically received and the results were most encouraging.
