Reduction Of Unemployed

Armstrong, the unemployment return for July 2. including those on the register as unfit for employment, discloses a reduction of 15,998 from the corresponding figure p year ago. Mr E. B. Glanville, agricultural instructor, Whangarei, who has been engaged on facial eczema research work in the Waikato, has contracted measles. During the absence of Mr E. B. Glanville in the Waikato-, Mr Moss, of Kaitaia, is relieving instructor to the Department of Whangarei.
Captain H. G. Wocller, N.Z.S.C., of the Defence Department, Wbangarei, is making a 10 days’ tour of his district. He has already covered the northern areas, and is now in Auckland.
