Whangarei Rugby's Full Season

As representative fixtures are now breaking into the competition so much, the Whangarei Rugby Union decided last night to match Hikurangi and City, tlte two leading teams in the senior championship, on Saturday, July 30. Should Hikurangi win on that occasion they cannot be displaced from the top of the ladder. Old Boys will meet Maungakaramea the same day. Arrangements for the Whangarei v. Rodney senior match to be played at Rugby Park on Saturday next were finalised. Owing to the North Auckland team not being announced until after the trial today the selection of the Whangarei side has boon deferred. 2.45. After the game both teams will be entertained to dinner by the Union. The curtain raiser between Horn Hora and Mangakahla thirds will commence at 1.15.
