Bridegroom Still Missing
TIMARU. Tliis Day. Since his disappearance on July 2. from the Empire Hotel. Timaru, where he was staying with his wife in the course of their honeymoon, no trace j has been found of Mr Tertius Munro McKinnon, aged 2G, of Kurow. Dragging operations have been carried out in the Timaru Harbour without success, and these have now been abandoned. Mr McKinnon's parents employed a diver to search the bed of the harbour. A man answering Mr McKinnon's i description was seen in the vicinity * of Dansey's Pass, Kyeburn, some dis- j lance inland from Oamaru. He was' seen to go through the pass in the direction of Nascby, but later returned ! northward through the pass. This re-j port has given rise to hopes that Mr i McKinnon may still bo alive. !
