Japan’s Protest To Soviet
(Received 10 a.m.) TOKIO, July 15. The Japanese Foreign Office has protested to the Soviet at the action of a detachment of Russian troops in occupying a hill of military importance in Manchukuo, near Possiet Bay. Japan has hinted that in the event of the non-withdrawal of the troops, her Kwantung army may bo forced to dislodge them. Floods have severed the transSiberian railway for the past two days at the foot of the Khingan Mountain.
