Women's Civic League
The usual monthly meeting of the Women's Civic League was held oh Tuesday afternoon at the Y.W.C.A. rooms. The president, Mrs W. J, Dawson, was in the chair. There was a splendid attendance. After the usual business was finished an interesting address was delivered on “Women’s Activities in the Great War” by Mrs Potts. Mrs Potts provided many sidelights on what women had done during the period of war and was asked to give further talks. The resignation of Mrs R, Tudehope as hon. secretary was accepted with regret. Afternoon tea brought a most enjoyable meeting to a close.
