ROYALTY’S VISIT TO FRANCE. —The regal splendours of Republican France were overhauled in preparation for the visit of the King and Queen of England next week. Crystal chandeliers are being rehung in one of the rooms of the apartments which have been redecorated in the Foreign Office on the Quai d’Orsay in Paris, where King George and Queen Elizabeth will stay during their State visit to France to unveil the Australian war memorial at Villers-Bre-tonneux.
