Measles Epidemic Unabated
No sign of abatement is yet evident :in the epidemic of measles in and | about Whangarei. fresh cases continuing to occur among both young people and adults. In lew instances, however, is the sickness a serious nature, the predominating form being the mild type of German measles. T«:day 10 cases were reported to be in the Whangarei District Hospital for treatment, including three children. | four women and three men. but in .none of these cases have serious coir - ! plications set in. j A report from Waiotira states that i the epidemic has broken out in that 1 area in common with other nartr of i the district.
